(NGX) witnessed a notable gain, surging by N666 billion or 1.63%. The market closed at N41.583 trillion, marking a 1.63% rise from the N40.917 trillion recorded on the previous Friday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Moreover, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/africanfinancials.com\/pt-index\/ng-xngall\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">All-Share Index<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> showed a positive trend by going up by 1,217.11 points or 1.63%. It closed at 75,990.88, which is higher than the Friday closing of 74,773.77. Its closing price settled at 88k. Right behind were <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ng.linkedin.com\/company\/daar-communications-plc\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Daar Communications<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ikejahotelplc.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ikeja Hotel<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, both also experiencing a 10% increase and closing at 99k and N6.60 per share, respectively. Similarly,<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.infinitytrustmortgagebank.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkageassurance.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Linkage Assurance<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> achieved the same growth percentage, closing at N6.60 and 88k per share, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1515\" src=\"https:\/\/aqqute.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/6f295-daar-ibeto-mabel.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Photo credits: LinkedIn<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Among the stocks that didn&#8217;t perform well, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cadbury.co.uk\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Cadbury <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mecure.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mecure <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">were the top losers, each seeing a 10% drop and closing at N17.1 and N10.89 per share, respectively. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/quote\/THOMASWY:NL\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Thomaswy <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">also experienced a 10% decline, closing at N2.43 per share. Furthermore, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ng.linkedin.com\/company\/prestige-assurance-plc\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Prestige Assurance<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> went down by 9.80%, closing at 46k, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/africanfinancials.com\/company\/ng-omatek\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Omatek <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">lost 9.21%, closing at 69k.
